Last night my hubby took me out to a lovely dinner. I had an excuse to wear my new shoes!

I paired them with some skinny black pants, a black blazer, and a white tank.
I’m still in love with these shoes!
We went to Farmer’s Daughter , and the meal was excellent. Since I’m 5 weeks away from my competition, I had to find something on the menu that would somewhat fit within my diet plan. I rolled with the seafood salad:
local lettuce, avocado, seasonal fruit, jumbo crab, shrimp, lobster, avocado coulis, lemon vinaigrette
It was delicious! It had huge chunks of jumbo lump crab and a whole lobster tail. It was light and yummy and the perfect date night meal. The only bummer was not being able to indulge in any vino – they have a nice wine list. We are already planning what we’ll order the next time we visit (after my competition!)
Today the date theme continues – I’m taking Trever to see Hunger Games with me (muahahaha). I bought IMAX tickets at our local theater, and my hubby’s such a good sport that he’s going with me.
I’m planning to sneak some of my own contraband air-popped popcorn with me into the theater
Healthy air-popped popcorn so easy to make! Simply take a brown paper lunch bag, pour some popcorn kernels inside, spray the inside of the bag and kernels with Pam (or olive oil spray, which I use) and seasonings, and roll up the bag tightly.
Pop into the microwave and nuke until you hear the kernels stop popping, and voila! Save $8 on chemical and fat-laden movie theater popcorn AND stay on your diet – perfection
